Nous avons pris “Suzie” (une Light 15 de 1955) pour une journée de visite à notre monument, le “Voortrekker”, qui se trouve dans le Nord de l’Afrique du Sud dans la region de Pretoria (Tshwane). Nous avons fait un merveilleux voyage avec notre mère de 87 ans, à ce site historique qui commémore l’histoire des pionniers de l'Afrique australe et l’histoire du peuple des Afrikaner. Le Monument se trouve dans une réserve naturelle, et en entrant avec notre Light 15, à un rythme divinement “lent”, on a pu voir des boucs “bles” autochtone, des zèbres “Burchell” et d’autres petits animaux. Nous avons mangé un succulent déjeuner, avant de stationner “Suzie” et Grand-Mère à l’ombre, et affronter les marches qui montent au Monument Voortrekker.Les photos attachées représentent:001 – Suzie devant le Monument Voortrekker004 – Suzie devant le Char à boeufs des Voortrekker008 – John et le Monument Voortrekker sur le fond012 – John et Sue qui célèbre le “dernier hourrah”Une merveilleuse idée et une belle journée pour tous, Merci!..........Good Morning Christopher from South Africa,What a great idea the "last hurrah" ! We took "Suzie" (1955 Light 15) out for the day to our majestic Voortrekker Monument which is situated in the northern part of South Africa in the Pretoria (Tshwane) region. We had a wonderful day with our 87 year old Mother at the historic site which commemorates the Pioneer history of Southern Africa and the history of the Afrikaner people.The Monument is set in a nature reserve as you drive in your Light 15 at a divinely "slower pace" you are able to see the resident bles buck and Burchell's zebras and various smaller animals .
