My Traction is a 1953 11BL, as you can see it’s in the garage right now. Nothing too serious, excess grease from the wheel bearing spun out onto the brakes due to a bad seal. I was able to find a new seal locally so it should be back on the road soon. I’ve had the car for a long time now, I didn’t really know what I was getting into! I purchased it from a dealer, Challenger Motors, in Los Angeles in 1974. I flew down to pick it up and drove it back to San Francisco the next day. That’s a long drive, almost 600 km, it was well after dark when I got back home. Somewhere along the way the muffler fell off, the last part was noisy but it was a relief to get back with no further problems. I don’t know much about the car’s history, how it wound up in Los Angeles. I think Challenger Motors started out as a car dealer but it was strictly a repair shop by the time I was there, they’re not in business any more.John Frazer
